mermaids

Last Saturday was the annual Coney Island Mermaid Parade.  Sash & I went down to meet up with some friends and watch one of our coworkers who was dancing in the parade.  Of course, by the time we got our traveling juice together and our asses on the F train, we had missed the majority of the parade. =( womp womp.

So we just frolicked around the boardwalk and sand... so nice to be on a beach in the East Coast

gonna marry you

jetted off to San Francisco last weekend for a friend's wedding. first friend wedding, damn I guess we're getting old ::obligatory freakout::

what I wore. where we were. what we ate. who was there. (including the ring bearer the guys hoisted up to catch the bride's garter belt... cue awwww)

oh yea and a flower pic... because it makes sense with weddings and summer and love yadda yadda

how quickly H&M can knock of Prada's prints... kind of crazy, and screwed up, but if you think about it all fashion really is just recycled & tweaked ideas. since fashion & design isn't protected by the same copywrite laws there's not much that can be done re: knockoffs & imitations. guess it keeps the competition stiff & designs fresher ;)
